Acral lentiginous melanoma.

Dermoscopy confirms the clinical suspicion that this is a melanoma. Many acral melanocytic lesions display a parallel pattern of pigment. In benign lesions the pigment is more prominent in furrows but in malignant lesions the pigment is irregular and more prominent on ridges. The white dots are sweat duct orifices on the ridges. This portion of the lesion is relatively structureless but demonstrates focal blue-white veil.
